Todd Wagner Honored as 2008 Milton P. Levy, Jr. Award Recipient
Milton P. Levy, Jr. served on the Special Care & Career Services board of trustees from 1973 to 1994, seeing the agency grow into one of the most respected programs of its kind. As co-owner of NCH Corporation, he has hired several Special Care & Career Services clients, displaying his utmost confidence in the agency's Supported Employment program. Called a "guardian angel" by staff and fellow board members, Mr. Levy is a man who truly knows that when you give, you receive.

Inaugural SCCS Corporate Champion Award Handed Out, and Renamed for Honoree
Another special moment at A Special Evening with Frankie Valli, Hosted by Alliance Data came when the agency awarded its first Corporate Champion Award.
Special Care & Career Services' Corporate Champion Award was created as an annual commendation for an Employer of our Supported Employment clients, whose outstanding support makes an extraordinary impact on our ability to place more adults with disabilities in good jobs. Winners of this award must meet or exceed these criteria:
- Employ at least one adults with developmental disabilities who requires Supported Employment Services to get and keep a job
- Actively recruit employers and advocate employment of our clients to other businesses
- Provide significant financial support to Special Care & Career Services to help expand its Supported Employment Services
- Encourage employee volunteerism for Special Care & Career Services
